Abstract

The amount and temporal arrangement of sleep and sleep design (sleep stages) are determined by many factors, important among that are the atmosphere, unit of time rhythms and time awake. Separating the roles contend by these factors needs specific protocols, together with the constant routine and altered sleep-wake schedules.

Results from such protocols have the diode to the invention of the factors that confirm the amounts and distribution of slow wave and speedy eye movement sleep in addition to the event of models to work out the number and temporal arrangement of sleep.
